Objective 1
To develop a centralize information system for Pakistan Mission
Tasks & responsibilities
· Pilot and scale up centralized information system for programs and related departments on single server using SQL Server.
· Design and Development Research databases for research department and support in Analysis using different tools like SPSS and MS Access.
· To strengthen online data collection systems through development of tools, collection and analysis of information.
· To train filed staff, government and implementing partners on data management according to the protocols of Action Against Hunger.
· To develop a report generation mechanism for all relevant departments.
· To Standardize data collection templates with close coordination of Nutrition specific and sensitive programs, project development and field teams.
· To support departments through developing SOP/manuals required for validation of reports at country and HQ level and provision of relevant data sets and analysis.
· To develop project monitoring system in collaboration with MEAL team which includes trend analysis for program progress, effectiveness against stated indicators and
· To generate reports as per requirements of Action Against Hunger and donors.
· To develop a system for HR management of data focal points, program archiving and develop spread sheets for other departments/organizational as per needs.
· Be the IT focal point during the absence or as gap filling.
Objective 2
Feedback and analysis of relevant program qualitative and quantitative data
Tasks & responsibilities
· To provide technical back stopping to implementing partners in generation of data sets and its analysis.
· To Identify opportunities for deeper assessment, applied research hypothesis, or publication related to ongoing program.
· To provide support/ updates of the ACF Pakistan Program/ Research departments, regarding supplies, caseloads and planning.
· To follow-up with Field staff on Program trends and routine program data and giving feedback for improvements.
· Strong Support in all ACF Nutrition Assessments e.g. SQUEAC, SMART, IYCF KAP Baseline, Endline, NCA in planning, formulation and execution stage.
· To contribute to agency contingency planning for possible Nutrition emergency response if required.
· Up to 50% visits to field for monitoring in terms of stream lining data reporting quality and data reporting channel among field and office staff.
Objective 3
Coordination and representation in external events
Tasks & responsibilities
· Coordination with UN Agencies, clusters, partners, developmental and humanitarian forums and any other stakeholders.
· Participation and representation in NIS working group at national and provincial level.
Objective 4
Support capacity building for researches and evidence generation activities
Tasks & responsibilities
· To provide support in training of field staff and stakeholders on data collection during assessments/ surveys primary and secondary data analysis (quantitative and qualitative)
· To define goals and targets for the MIS teams and their regular follow-up to achieve targets within defined deadlines.
· To support development of MIS team through coaching and performance management.
· Provide technical support to staff and promote learning based on project objectives and activities and ensure documentation and sharing of learning with other sectors and programs.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP
Internal
· Understanding their employee and ability to resolve conflict and other key issues.
· Coordination with other technical departments (FSL, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Logistics, IT and administration).
External
- Maintain coordination with DOH, UNCEF, WFP, WHO, FAO, government organizations and stakeholder who involved in Nutrition sensitive and specific activities
- Participate in the External coordination with partners and governmental bodies and provide technical support and guidance in the nutrition sub-committee and cluster, where relevant.
REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysis of weekly and monthly reports from the field and capital staff and ensure they are sent to HQs, donors, partners on time.
- Ongoing communication with Operations Coordinator, MEAL Coordinator, HOP.
- Technical input in donor reporting and proposals
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Master's Degree in relevant field
· Minimum 06 years of overall experience and 04 years in relevant field in development sector
OR
· Bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum 08 years overall experience with 06 years in relevant field in development Sector

PREFERRED
· Fluent in English (professional English required), Sindhi and Urdu an added advantage
· Experience and flexibility in working with complex/big Organograms
· Experience working with local government departments.
· Experience in Nutrition surveys such as SMART, SQUEAC, KAP surveys is preferable
