Job Description:

HUBCO is Pakistan's largest IPP and has recently announced a joint venture with Chinese partners.

We are seeking a translator/interpreter who is extremely fluent in Mandarin, English and Urdu. The person should be experienced, with business translation exposure being preferred. They will be an extension of the HUBCO team, and play a critical role during business meetings, preparing strategic documents and overall ensuring all parties are aligned through fluent communication.

Ability to speak, read and write in Mandarin is COMPULSORY - kindly specify the same in your application.

Candidate will be:

1. Required to translate technical and legal documents from English to Mandarin Chinese and vice-versa

2. Responsible for drafting email communication in Mandarin and English to facilitate online communication

3. Attend business meetings and serve as an intermediary, translating between English and Mandarin for both parties

4. Assist in project scheduling activities

5. Frequent travelling will be required, candidate must possess valid passport. Will accompany HUBCO employees on meetings within Pakistan and on forgein visits as well.

2. Native-level proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin, English, Urdu- must be able to read, write, speak and understand the languages
