Responsibilities:
Review project documents for assigned projects and identify controls requirements and sequence of operations.
Layout and coordinate control systems design with project teams.
Assist in development of control systems engineering designs, wiring diagrams, software programming, project database, field sketches etc. for assigned projects.
Assist in development of project systems graphics and floor plans
Develop and maintain project documentation, field changes, sketches etc. to support controls system design and implementation.
Maintain an effective communication with project teams.
Coordinate and resolve design issues and conflicts with project teams.
Prepare project closeout documentation, commissioning and checkout logs, technical manuals, training manuals, as-built drawings etc.
Ensure that all work is performed with integrity and strong work ethics.
Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in control systems, HVAC&R and construction industry as a field Engineer, project coordinator, systems technician etc.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or technical degree in control systems.
Must have knowledge of computer networking, especially with LANs, Hubs, Routers, etc.
Successful candidate must be team oriented, self-motivated and likes to work hands-on.
Must be willing to travel to company offices and project sites as required.
Must have knowledge of controls systems and HVAC& R.
Technical experience with central plants, DDC controls and building automation systems is preferred.
Experience with Niagara N4, AX, Distech Controls, Johnson Controls PCT, CCT, Johnson Controls FX Workbench etc.
