Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and arrange introductory meetings with the stake holders at grassroot levels.


• Hold introductory meetings with the communities.


• Introduce the program concept and develop a long-term vision of the program in the organized communities.


• Prepare a profile of the village by collecting data on village statistics particularly on status of the village population and division into better off, well off, poor, poorest and destitute.


• Facilitate communities to form community organizations as per Social Mobilization Policy of HDF.


• Attend DO/VDO/UADO/UDO/UCDO monthly meetings on regular bases.


• Ensure the rules & regulation of the VDOs/UADOs/UCDO are in place.


• Attend coordination meetings with line agencies.


• Coordinate with the other organizations working in the program area.


• Arrange and deliver trainings for the DO/VDO/UADO/UCDO/sub-committees.


• Conduct Need assessment of the communities/Situational Analysis.


• Preparation of Need assessment/Situational analysis reports.


• Preparation of the Village Development plan with the organized communities.


• Link up the communities with the line agencies and banks for having access to their resources.


• Provide on job training to the J/social organizers.


• Inculcate Millennium Development/HDF goals in the communities


• Ensure achievement of Social Mobilization related goal of HDF within due time


• Assist. Community Organizations for the achievement of development goals 


• Coordination with NGOs, Banks and line agencies for developing sustainable linkages among the communities and these agencies.  


• Prepare daily/weekly/ monthly, quarterly, six monthly and annual reports about social mobilization activities for submission to NO


• Record keeping of VDOs/DOs/Committees at regional levelTo act as a Resource person for community Trainings.


• Facilitate registration process of Community Based Organizations (DO/VDO/CCB)


• Facilitate the community organizations and Regional Health team in achieving HDF health Goals


• Will arrange Health Committee meetings for HDF Regional Health Team


• Facilitate Vaccination of WRAs and Children in his program area and ensure 100% Vaccination rate


• Facilitate Health Committees in maintaining health related data at VDO level with collaboration of Regional Health Team.


• Facilitate the community organizations and Regional Education team in achieving HDF Education Goals.


• Will arrange meetings of Education Committees with Regional Education Team


• Prepare Children Enrollment plan in Primary and Secondary Schools with Collaboration of Regional Education Team


• Will play his/her role to minimize drop out in his program area


• Facilitate VDO and Economic Development Regional team in achieving HDF Economic Development Goals.


• Will Identify Beneficiaries of Vocational Training


• Will identify Beneficiaries for Economic Development Program of HDF


• Social Appraisal of Borrowers and joint Venture cases


• Ensure program integration at field level


• Coordinate activities with other HDF sectors


• Monitoring of all HDF sector’s activities at field level


• Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
